Everything and everyone needs water to survive - plants, animals, humans... We hear it all the time, "people don't drink enough water". I believe those who are drinking a good amount of water feel so much better than those who aren't. Sugary drinks such as soda and processed juice have little to no nutritional value. Even many sports drinks and flavored waters are mostly sugar. Replacing your daily soda and energy drink with water is a wonderful (and easy) way to feel healthier!

I try to drink a gallon of water a day. I don't drink coffee so I start the day with warm water with lemon. I also find it is easier to drink room temperature water when drinking a large amount. If you don't drink much water, I recommend working your way up little by little before drinking a full gallon. I found that helped me to avoid any sickness.
