Cranberry Sauce Smoothie

Leftover cranberry sauce becomes a delicious, healthy breakfast with just a few ingredients!

One of our favorite dinners is roasted chicken breasts with cranberry sauce. Thanks to frozen cranberries, I can make it year round. I always double my cranberry sauce recipe for snacking or recipes like this smoothie. 

Use your favorite cranberry sauce recipe that is low sugar to keep this healthier for a special smoothie. My recipe includes apples and oranges which creates a delicious sauce!

Cranberry Sauce Smoothie
serves 1-2
  • 1 cup vegan cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup milk (cashew, almond, cow...)
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon hemp hearts or chia seeds (optional)
  • pinch cinnamon
In a blender, combine all ingredients, and blend on high speed until smooth. Serve cold.
